Our mission at Byrd Academy is to increase access to resources and mentorship so students can solve problems, find fulfillment, and change the world for the better. We offer experiences for students to explore manufacturing, electronics, software, and holistic design.
After School Courses
Byrd Academy After School Courses offer students the opportunity to dive deep into the MESH’D Framework. With different levels and courses, we let students build their skills in each area and create new tech to take home with them.

Byrd Zone Workshops
We want to give all students the opportunity to learn STEM and try out Byrd Academy. Whether it's an Aggie Game day, a long weekend, or a Friday Date Night, we love to take any chance to give students a hands-on learning experience and get "in the zone" working on projects that incorporate all of the MESH’D Framework.

At Byrd Academy, we don’t think the kids should be the only ones to have fun. Therefore, we offer a few events that are open to the 18+ crowd, allowing them to come learn and compete at local tech events.

About Us
What do you get when you bring together an electronics engineer and a high school robotics teacher? Byrd Academy.
We are a nonprofit working to bring Brazos Valley students STEAM experiences in an accessible, engaging, and exciting way. From building circuits to designing 3D prints, Byrd students get to learn everything they need to develop compelling solutions to real-world problems that can change the world and create a path forward to personal fulfillment.
